We have spent decades being the agency behind the agency.
SiteVitals was built by a web development agency - and not just any agency. For much of the last two decades, we were the outsourced technical team that bigger design agencies came to when they needed something built properly. Back when “digital” was a new frontier, we helped studios and creative agencies build their digital departments, take on web clients, and deliver projects they could not have done alone.
We have been in your position. We know what it feels like to be responsible for a client’s website when something goes wrong at 5pm on a Friday. We know the particular stress of being the person who has to call a client to say their site is down - and we know there is almost nothing worse than finding out from the client themselves.
“We built SiteVitals partly for ourselves. The monitoring we always wished we had, packaged up for everyone who manages websites for a living.”
Starting out over 25 years ago meant learning the whole web - not just one corner of it. DNS, hosting, domains, performance, security, front end, back end: all of it. That breadth is rare now, and it is baked into everything SiteVitals checks. The problems that fall between the cracks of modern specialisations are often the ones that cause the most damage to client relationships. SiteVitals catches them.
25+ years building for agencies
We were the technical outsource for design agencies across the UK long before in-house developers became standard. We understand agency workflows, client relationships, and the pressure of being accountable for someone else’s website.
Sites handling 2.4 million daily visitors
Our portfolio spans household names, national charities, BBC Two, NHS, and Aardman alongside hundreds of smaller businesses. We have seen what scale looks like - and what happens when monitoring is not in place.
Built from real problems, not hypotheticals
Every feature in SiteVitals exists because we saw the problem it prevents play out in real life - often more than once. This is not a tool built from a spec sheet. It is built from experience.
