If you’ve ever had a client’s site "go down," only to discover hours later that their IT department migrated their email and accidentally nuked their A record in the process, this update is for you. Today, we’re excited to announce Intelligent DNS Change Monitoring for SiteVitals. We aren’t just checking if your domain is "up" - we are now snapshotting your DNS and alerting you the second a record is added, removed, or modified.

SiteVitals now has an MCP server. Connect your account to Claude and ask questions about your websites in plain English. Which sites have issues? Any SSL certificates expiring? What did the last security scan find? Claude pulls live data from your SiteVitals account and answers directly, without you opening a single dashboard. Setup takes five minutes using Claude Code.

Uptime monitoring tells you one thing: your server answered. It doesn't tell you whether your PageSpeed score has tanked since your last deployment, whether a security header was accidentally removed during a server migration, or whether your SSL certificate expires tomorrow. For most sites, uptime monitoring is where monitoring stops, leaving a significant blind spot. This post covers the five areas of site health that deteriorate over time without anybody noticing.

Most website monitoring tools were built by engineers solving an abstract problem. SiteVitals was built by an agency solving a real one. Here's what makes us different.

Beyond Google, a new audience is crawling your site: AI. From GPTBot to Perplexity, AI agents make decisions based on signals traditional SEO tools ignore. I’ve rebuilt the SiteVitals SEO checker to bridge this gap—adding deep schema validation, AI crawler audits, and llms.txt support. Here is a look at the technical hurdles we hit, the three layers of validation we built, and why your site might pass a Google test but fail an AI readiness check.
